Tougher US visa regime will not hurt Indian IT companies. We must remember this is Election Year for US. Nothing will hurt our IT companies after US elections also I presume.
Yes. US will be encouraging on sight development and that to where ever possible with Americans only. They will allow very few people in the near future.
Visa restrictions have already been tight for the past couple of years, with unprecendented rejections and RFEs issued by the US consulates. The US Immigration services are on the alert as the Indian companies have severely abused the US visa system in the past. Also, US clients in most cases have realised that the work products from these outsourcing companies are not good enough; The only advantage of outsourcing is the cost factor. Once that is whittled away, the IT market in India will dry up.
yes indian it cos including infosys, do just tinkering work and take away hefty money for no value additions. at one stage americans will realize that they can save lot of money and cancel order on our it cos.
It`s all election gimmick in US. It is loud and clear that they are short of skilled reosurces and India can supply it cheap...so why would they not have it?
Yes, this is the election year in the US and President Obama wants to show to his constituents that he is vigorously safeguarding American jobs by tightening Visa norms, this will fizzle out with time and will no impact at all in the long run because US needs us more than we need them.
