Being an MP from Assam, Mr Manmohan Songh should personally visit Kokrajhar and work towards removing the grievances of the people. He should stop violence and send back the illegal immigrants. from Bangladesh.

Till that is done he should not return to Delhi. This can be done easily if he resigns as PM and devotes himself to the welfare of the people of Assam.

Next time in 2014, he should contest for a Lok Sabha seat from Assam.

Dear hkre,

While noting your views about sensual pleasures, I find that you have grouped `a visit to the hills`, along with them.

Please try to visit Dehradun and from the railway station go to Rajpur by bus, a journey of 11 km. From Rajpur go to Mussoorie on foot, a distance of only 13 Km. If you take the short cuts, you can reduce the distance to 11 Km. The walk will take only 3 and a half hrs, with a stop at Jharipani, where Oak Grove School is situated.

Come back the same day, after strollig on the mall road to Library and back via Camels Back road. Only about 5-6 Km. Do not go to Lal Tibba, also called Depot, as that may be tiring. Just eat simple vegetarian food, a thali is much cheaper there than Delhi or other metros.

I assure you, that you will enjoy the 13-14 hrs visit thoroughly. You may like to repeat it the next day or later. I further assure you that it will be a memorable pleasure trip. I have done it many times.

Once you have experienced it, you may not equate a hill station to a bar or casino. It will not harm our great culture and moral values. Please try it, it costs so little.

Incidentally, you seem to have written in anger, which is caused by unfulfilled desires. "Kama Krodhah abijayate". Anger causes auto hypnosis. "Krodhat bhavati sammoha". In a state of hypnosis, mind goes into a state of confusion. "Sammohat mati vibramah".

Many politecians are seeking their election for plessure of public money. People who are more behind plessure are almost useless for any hard work , country, society and their own families because they are fearful, have no skills, expect others take their pain, spoiled their brains with thought of fun & plessure also pull right people to wrong path, in the event of any fight for production, business, and security they will never stand to face the agresser

We are borned to enjoy life only after achieve our education, sports, skills, religious and linguistic work, responsibility of safety and security. Why should we have to have so many hill stations, hotels, bars, liquor and cigar producing factorys ? every social media encourages young people to love making as an essential to them, this teen love hurts families, finances, education and ability to lead satisfactry life. Most of resorts and hill stations are built for misguiding our tradition as poor social development. There is no much strain in many peoples life to relax in such high cost resorts wasting time,money,health......People who are more behind plessure are almost useless for country, society and their own families because they are fearful, have no skills, expect others take their pain, spoiled their brains with thought of fun & plessure also pull right people to wrong path, in the event of any fight they will never stand to face the agresser.

Dear Rajive,

As per latest regulations outsiders can buy maximum one and a half "Nali" i.e. 306 Sq Mtr residential plot only, in Uttrakhand(UK). UK consists of Garhwalis, Kumaonis, persons of the plains and Punjabis who came after Partition. UK is not tribal in the customary sense. With plains of Roorkee, Haridwar, Pant Nagar, Rudrapur and other parts of Udhamsingh Nagar being given to UK, its population is a very mixed one. It has Garhwali, Kumaoni, Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi and colloquial western UP Hindi speaking populations.

But for the "outsiders", the state would not have been viable. The argument of outsiders coming to states is a very fragile one. If we apply it to very large area and small population states like UK, then we have Raj Thakreys coming up in other states. Punjab and Haryana have more homogeneous populations than UK. If UK does not allow Punjabis, why will Punjab allow UK people?

I think we have to think afresh on this issue of people moving from one state to other. Initially the Constitution makers thought the tribals like Nagas and Mizos wanted to remain isolated in their tribal dress, language and culture. But time has proven that they also have aspirations and want to put on jeans, speak English and work in the new industries like the IT and go to McDonalds. That is why you find them in Delhi, Bangalore, Pune and other cities. It is because of their isolation that they are being attacked in some cities. If riots start in Delhi, UP, Maharashtra etc, parallel riots against people of these states, living elsewhere do not take place.

The ever changing society needs a periodical rethink.

I agree and will like to add that the govt should develop properly planned hill stations, instead of the existing ones being over crowded. Today Mussoorie, Nanital, Shimla and even Ooty are over crowded. In present hill stations in north India, it is difficult to even walk on the Mall roads. There is shortage of water and of course thev parking space is never available in the hills.

These were built by the British and we have not added proper hill stations after Independence. Near Mumbai a new hill station is coming up but it consists of high value properties for the exclusive residence of very few.

With the vast area of the Himalayas, we can build 10 Switzerlands and people will be willing to invest in such developments. Even for the state of Uttarakhand, the idea of building a new capital was abandoned and Dehradun was chosen Consequently, it has lost its identity and has become over congested.

Let`s hope some day we will have more hill stations to cater for increased population and greater urge to travel than before.

Why don`t they raise the issue in international forum about roge governments in neighbouring countries who are ill treat their people forcing migration in to india.
